Operating a company in Japan

In order for a foreigner to operate a business in Japan, the acquisition of a visa as a “Investor/Business manager” is required.
In establishing a company, there are many important things to do beyond simply setting up the company itself, including the acquisition of various permits and getting a handle on a myriad of contracts.

  • I would like to run a restaurant in Japan.
  • I am currently in Japan with a work (or student) visa, but would like to establish a company and change my visa to a“Investor/Business manager” visa.
